The Human Factor deals with the topic “Internet” as a space of sensation, research and experience. Center of the performance is an empty space, a “white cube” made of white gauze, in which a performer is acting musically and bodily. This space is some kind of communication area for the exchange of information, of image, music and video files. It is completely digitally measured, acoustically and visually entirely detected and continuously modified by Live-Processing (sound/image/video). Thus creates a complicated interactive network – which constantly allows the actor new scopes of action.
However, how freely can he really operate – for the parameters are exactly defined? Image, sound and action are closely linked with each other by rhythmical, melodic, contrapuntal and dynamic processes so that all single elements finally become a total work of art.
